Wight Crystal on the Isle of Wight

Wight Crystal
provides quality bottled spring water drawn from deep artesian wells in the central ridge of chalk downs on the Isle of Wight. Sailors, voyaging across the world's oceans, would provision their sailing ships with this ‘good keeping' water, and in 1865 it provided clean water to the town of Ryde following a cholera outbreak. Favoured by Nelson and Henry VIII this local product is still favoured today and is supplied to many Island and mainland outlets including Condor Ferries, Southampton Football Club, Tesco and Safeways.

Wight Crystal is the only Island based company bottling and selling Island drawn water. Since the company was set up in 1989 it has grown considerably. We are now becoming the recognised water company for use on the Island. From our small beginnings, we now supply many retail outlets, holiday attractions, local events, businesses and private homes with our wide range of water and water cooler service.

Wight Crystal is a sheltered workshop and is part of the Osel charity which gives work placements and training to people on the Island who are disabled or disadvantaged. The charity gives people the opportunity of on-the-job training through Wight Crystal and its other enterprises, which helps them enter the employment market, whilst still being supported and mentored by Osel.

An alternative side to Wight Crystal is our Water Cooler Division. We now supply a vast clientele with bottled coolers and mains plumbed Point-of-use coolers with dedicated trained engineers on hand to install and clean our machines, as well as delivery of our refill water.
